There's no better way to explore life as a Mountaineer than to visit campus. We welcome prospective students and families to Morgantown through our two Visitors Centers and offer a custom experience based on your academic interests.

Freshman and Transfer Students

Weekday Tour 

  • Downtown Visitors Center: Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST. 
  • Evansdale Visitors Center: Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST. 

We’ll provide you with all the details you need to know about joining the Mountaineer family. An admissions representative will give you a broad-level WVU overview, including our student life and academic opportunities, and also get into more specifics such as our housing options and scholarship programs.

The two-hour campus tour will include bus and walking portions of our three areas of campus – Downtown, Evansdale and Health Sciences – and also walk through select facilities, visit a real classroom, and see a model residence hall room.

Additional meetings with academic departments or student support units on campus are available on weekdays by request. Visit the  Department Appointments to learn more!

Saturday Tour 

  • Downtown Visitors Center: 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. EST. 
  • Evansdale  Visitors Center:  10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. EST. 

The two-hour  campus tour will include bus and walking portions of our three areas of campus – Downtown, Evansdale and Health Sciences – and also walk through select facilities, visit a real classroom, and see a model residence hall room.

Please note that Saturday tours are offered as a convenience. They do not include a presentation and departmental appointments are not available. Visitors interested in speaking with an admissions or academic representative are encouraged to select a weekday campus visit option.

Graduate Students

Weekday Tour

  • Downtown Visitors Center: Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EST
We’ll provide you with all the details you need to know about joining the Mountaineer family as a graduate student. An admissions representative will give you a broad-level WVU overview, including our student life and academic opportunities, and also get into more specifics such as our application process, housing options, and graduate assistantship opportunities. 

The 1.5-hour campus tour will include bus and walking portions of our three areas of campus – Downtown, Evansdale and Health Sciences – and also walk through our Mountainlair Student Union.
